Aren’t we so lucky to live in New Zealand. Matt and I traveled extensively while living in London, now we like to take our kids on Adventures.
Aotea - Great Barrier Island was an adventure thats for sure.
I feel like I shouldn’t be sharing this, one of New Zealand’s best kept secretes. After 5 hours on the car ferry, up at 4am, we arrived in the heaviest rain. It lasted 2 days, we were nearly washed away, but we survived and after the clouds lifted we got to enjoy amazing surf beaches, forest walks and thanks to our generous neighbours fresh local produce.
