Hello Saturday is a boutique interior design studio based in Mount Eden, Auckland, specialising in creative residential interior design for new builds and major renovations.
We predominantly work on residential properties located in central Auckland suburbs including Ponsonby, Herne Bay, Grey Lynn, Mount Eden and Remuera.
Our ethos is to create the winning team. Working alongside some of Auckland’s leading architects and builders helps the process run smoothly — it’s all about collaboration.
From concept to completion, we guide our clients through the design and building process, helping them make confident decisions that result in thoughtful, cohesive homes.
How Hello Saturday got its name
The name Hello Saturday reflects the feeling we hope every home brings — warmth, comfort and a place to enjoy everyday life.

Founder and Lead Interior Designer of Hello Saturday, Mary-Ellen Hinton loves being involved in the full renovation or new build process from concept to completion.
Mary-Ellen can visualise a home while it’s still plans on paper — this is her area of genius. It’s never too early to bring Mary-Ellen and the Hello Saturday team on board.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Photography and Design from Canterbury University, along with a Diploma in Interior Design.
Mary-Ellen is also passionate about supporting women in business and loves to support local businesses wherever possible.
Her wealth of knowledge in the creative industry has helped establish Hello Saturday as a brand that is innovative, creative, inspirational and supportive — always continuing the pursuit of excellence and never settling for second best.
